CranioSacral Therapy helps to regulate the central nervous system.

By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body's ability to self-correct, CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to chronic stress and neurological impairment.

CST is a method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system. This system is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

This treatment is performed fully clothed and is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions and restrictions deep in the body and in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

CranioSacral for Athletes

Training in most sports puts one’s body through rigorous mental and physical conditioning. This type of training can cause physical trauma, impairing cognitive and somatic function. These traumas limit one’s capability for optimal performance. CST has been known to greatly assist with recovery after intense workouts and performances. It will also help alleviate a variety of symptoms and conditions brought on as a result from repeated wear and tear, concussions and in some sport’s cases repeated blows or impacts to the body.

This service is tailored for individuals who are actively engaged in training for a sport, as well as for those who may be taking time off for injury or other personal reasons, as well as for former professionals. I am open to working with any athlete. I currently work with MMA fighters, Muay Thai kickboxers, Martial Artists, Dirt Bike Riders, Collegiate Wrestlers, Jiu Jitsu Practitioners and ex-Professional and Collegiate Football players.

SomatoEmotional Release

To me, SomatoEmotional Release (SER) is next level CranioSacral. It’s a technique that helps one connect his/her subconscious thoughts by bringing them to the conscious mind. I’ve had mind blowing epiphanies after receiving a session. One such session brought so much clarity regarding my career & purpose, that 15 minutes after the session I quit my job! Although I’m grateful for the many lessons I learned from working there, leaving my previous job and following my purpose was one of the best decisions I have ever made! 🙌🏾💃🏻

Another way that SER can be helpful is when one experiences a physical force from an accident or injury, or even an emotional trauma. The body will often store these traumas in the tissues. As time passes, symptoms begin to appear. Pain, discomfort, & disease are all signals that something needs to change; physically, emotionally, &/or spiritually.

The SER process helps the body to let go of these stored traumas and return to a state of wellness. The treatment itself is conducted just like a CranioSacral session; fully clothed, lying down on a treatment table. The main difference is that the therapist will use dialoguing as a means of assisting the client to get in touch with his or her subconscious to help bring clarity to a situation. These sessions require sensitivity on the part of the therapist and trust from the client as you work together in the healing process.
